Celebrating Our First Decade: 2001-2011

OnKue Productions (OKP) started out in 2001 as a small production company specializing in on-location multi-track recording, post-production editing, and media conversions. Over the years, as consumer and prosumer technology changed, so did customer demand in our services. We moved into video production in 2003 and dropped all audio aspects of our operations in late 2006. However, it wasn't until 2008 that the OnKue Productions you know today came into existence with the unveiling of Castle Studios' MidiLite Simulator (MLsim).

Still owned and operated by Ed Thomas and based out of Lynchburg, Virginia, OKP now exclusively operates as a provider of MidiLite programming services and theatrical lighting design. Ed has studied with and worked along-side MidiLite creator Jon Daggett, formerly serving with him as Technical Services Manager at Thomas Road Baptist Church. He brings over 16 years of lighting design experience and has worked with the MidiLite system almost since the beginning, having first worked with Jon and Castle Studios Productions in 1996. His natural musicality and more than 25 years as a musician allows him to perfectly integrate what you see with the MidiLite system and what you're hearing.
